Here is an amateurish little movie of the stages of a drawing I made this month:
The drawing is of a furry creature in a golden-brown late autumn meadow under a wooly gray sky, catching snowflakes on his tongue.
Sometimes in January and February, we forget how lovely those first snowflakes are.
It was so much fun to watch your illustration come to fruition. You help us appreciate all colors and all of nature through your art. with love
thanks, Mary T! ❤
Loved your slide show, the way a simple beginning blossomed out with detail.
thanks, Pamela. It was fun.
Lynne, that was lovely! I just discovered your blog as my sister Sue Wiseheart told me about your illustrations and books. Magical!! I’ll be following your progress in your adventures!
Hey, nice to meet you, Sue’s sister!
I love your site and the progression of your skills of illustration/art. Love reading the kinds of things you spend your days thinking about…more of us should spend time, taking time, to do that and then of course, to write it down. What an interesting personal journey that would be.
thanks, Tina! I love doing blogposts — I wish I had more time to do them. It is fun to hear/read about what people are thinking about, isn’t it?
